  • Minority Welfare Fund operative since 1985
  • Current FY allocation Rs.85 Million
  • Heads of disbursement / utilization:
    • Financial Assistance (Rs.13.5 Million)
    • Small Development Schemes (Rs.31.5 Million)
    • Scholarships (Rs.40 Million)
  • Financial Assistance (upto Rs.10,000/-) is disbursed amongst minorities on recommendations of Minister for RA&IH, 4 minority Senators (Reserved Seats) and 10 minority MNAs (Reserved Seats) and 01 Minority MNA (Elected Seat)
  • Grant of Rs.50,000/- is also allowed for the marriage of orphan girl of minority widows.
  • Scholarship to the minority students on merit.
